I’m a kid but love writing stories. I 12 years old. I’m in sixth grade. And my teacher and classmates love my stories. Here is a simple of one:
Dear Brandon,
It’s been far too long. And I know about the treaty. But I wish to see you and what’s left of Jess’s Kingdom. My lord’s kingdom is growing of all fear. Michael, Dean, Amanda, and I are all fine. The treaty is still going perfectly. Michael and Dean are getting treated like royalty. Amanda hates it here and wants to come see her husband again. I get treated like Shadows are supposed to be treated. And I’m almost twenty-two. It’s been years, when can we come home?

Tears ran down Connor’s face. He misses his brothers. Jack is the youngest. His warm smile when you walk into the room. Then his older brother Brandon. He’s a shadow, he watches over the King, or better known as Jess, Brandon’s best friend. Tears fell on to the paper, Connor quickly soaked up as much tears as he could. He folded the paper and put on top:

How exciting it was to read the excerpts you provided! There are obviously many, very talented students in this great country of ours; and it was a pleasure to read even a few lines of some extraordinary work.
